When i used to be a fan, it was the heavy guitar riffs and
the pounding dance beats. Quite catchy, and they had a few
good chord changes within some songs...

Theres also the 'dark/goth' appeal which lets everyone know
that if you listen to rammstien you are probably
'tough/evil' and shouldn't be messed with.
