Princess Ponytail. We must want it very very much and it
might happen.

they'll always be minorities in certain catagories.

sometimes that's what makes it good.

seems that girl dj's aren't something wow these days...there
are a lot of singers...i wonder why is that production
doesn't attarct females?
it's prolly cos of all those cables and midi and modulation
and ...oh hell,just shut it.

girls r good with guitars (ie beth orton, feist, hope
sandoval)
and singing (ie portishead, mandalay, lamb)
they r not good with electronics, and never will be
its just the way this world revolves

it is...not a lot girls are getting into production, but the
dj business is a bit different...you don't have to make an
effort to get famous, cos the fact that you are a female dj
is 90% chance that you'll succede.

offline weltact from Taiwan on 2004-11-13 11:58 [#01393796]

thats coz djing has nothing to do with music, only with
media and celebrities
djs r not musicians.
i repeat: djs r not musicians.

sorry mate, but they are...neznam za tebe ,ali ja se bavim i
time!
it's not that they are MUSICIANS,but some pople push the
boundaries of pure mixing with a little imagination.
everytime you mix tracks you end up making a third
one, either you want it or not...so in that case you are an
musician, cos you are dealing with tonality and bars.imo
