Yep, the concept of "Human Rights" is that your freedom is only permissable if it doesn't impinge on others freedom. Smoking does, therefore it is not within your human rights to do it. Even if passive smoking is a myth (I doubt it is), the smell/stinging eyes you get from smokey pubs is enough to warrant a ban. I bet if smoking were "invented" today and the health risks know, it would never have been made legal. |
