ok, arafat may be far from an ideal leader, but i think that he is the main reason anybody gives a shit about palestine in the first place. from my perspective, atleast he got the ball rolling for them. so, he definitely didn't finish the job, but he has some important accomplishments under his belt. disclaimer: i don't claim to know what i'm talking about; but a way to learn more is to discuss something and see what other people think (that's why i am posting). |
