You would think after hearing the amen break so often used that one would grow tired of it, but i never do. Of course there are tracks that use it in a bad way, but as long as it is used well I really enjoy it.
The End.

Really? I'm glad you like it. I was the one that actually made that. I can't believe it got so popular.

So how did you choose the name "staplemouth", oh and welcome to LX transexual by the way! Are you a male or a female? I'm a female but used to be a male, horsefactory is a female who dresses like a man, scup_bucket is a crazy sado masochistic hermaphrodite, and brokephones are both men who dress as women.

It's funny, like the Benny Hill theme. That's the only way it can be used now. How could you use it with a straight face? It's like hearing a hippie playing "blowing in the wind" in a coffee house. You want to break his guitar and make him cry.

I didn't say m__'s name because of a weird board glitch that automatically erases it every time it's typed. Go ahead try it. Phobiazero's been trying to fix it.

I don't think anybody can do anything more with the Amen break after "Herbie goes ballistic". That's the end-to-all deconstruction of it.

is it still called "the amen break" if you've made it yourself? I mean; it's pretty basic drumming today...

That's a heated debate, I've seen drum and bass heads flip on each other over that one.

yeah, but I mean.. if you just have a drummer play it... it's not really a break anymore, you know...
