lawsuits! some law firm in america is sueing several game-companies for using 3d graphics, which they mean is patented in the "Method and Apparatus for Spherical Planning", patent nr. 4734690 from 1988... if they win - and it is america after all - all game companies will have to pay HUGE amounts of money for each of the 3d-games they've made, and they'll have to pay for any future games with 3d... I wonder who's patented the lawsuit... |
