I usually have no interest in picking up instrumental hip
hop albums. As in, albums that are exactly the same only
without the MC.

BUT

I just picked up "Metal Fingers Presents... Special Herbs
7,8" and I can see this easily being in regular rotation in
my CD player. It's lovely.

I've heard almost every special herbs except 7,8.

You might want to go download Vol 1-6, theres some real gems
in there.

You might also like Dr Dre's 2001 instrumentals, really
fat/crisp beats with some decent/effective minimalist
melodics.
