ive just installed win xp pro on my machine. i have 4 drives.C,D,E and F. win xp pro is on C. for some reason i am getting 'drive not accessable' whenever i try to open my E and F drives.
on win2k i could just right click and give myself permissions in the properties, but i dont seem to have this option in win xp pro.
anyone got any ideas? all my files are in these two drives.
im logged in as administrator.

laid it end to end it would streatch from the earth to the sun more than 4 times!

You should of copied all that good stuff to cd or dvd before you formatted the drive and installed xp. What OS was on the drive before you reinstalled.
