I downloaded this as i dont have the BBC here. I paused it
to make this comment.

Interesting how "team b" made up a bevy of facts about the
soviets and today it appears that we are doing the exact
same. rumsfeld was behind it then and is now. Interesting
compairison.

a great programme, very revealing. only watched episode 1 so

there's someone at delirium-vault.com who has recorded the
whole thing on dvd and will be ripping the third episode.

this is the point they're making - "team B" is trying to use
the exact same scare tactics they tried to use during the
Cold War now. it's still the idea of an invisible enemy that
is everywhere and can strike at any time. instead of the
"red menace" you now have "al-queada".

"team A" mistakenly thinks it will help them if they play
along.

it's a big mess.

"Unprecedented" on Dutch television about the whole
Florida-debacle, otherwise known as how George W. Bush stole

It's extremely powerfull. I watched the final episode today
and was amazed at how it simplified everything down. I
certainly feel less afraid and more empowered after this.

does anyone know of a freeware app that will turn
AVIs, MP3s, and WMV files into VOB files that can be burnt
to DVD?

I found TMPGEnc, but it only had a 14 day trial.

oh MAN, don't start on that.. I made a video for a piece of
music Bremzen and I had made together.. I made it as an mpeg
and we thought it would be fun to burn it to dvd..

JESUS the amount of time that is lost in trying to find some
way to burn it.

we still haven't figured it out. and in the meantime the
film and the soundtrack have gone out of synch about a
second, for some unknown reason.. :(

TMPGEnc plus is a wonderfull program. in combination with
TMPGEnc DVD Author it will do exactly that.

the only problem is that they both expire after a couple of
weeks.

it appears there is a free version of the encoder... but,
i haven't tried it yet.
