cool! glad to see you still enjoy it.
sure, i'll get some up eventually. there's a little info at the site, but nothing much else at the moment. It should be a few more weeks until i have something solid. Plus I have the new ALtrock stuff to work on with r40f, so my schedule is pretty full. :)

tape hiss can be tricky to get rid of. one tip is to make sure you record as loudly as possible (without distorting the sound). you could also try using a tape machine with noise reduction. i don't have any software that easily gets rid of tape hiss, so i guess i'm not much help with that unfortunately.

I know the exact solution to your problem. Download "audacity". It's free. It's available on that one open source music site, whatsamacalled. It has a remove noise feature that works the following way: magic.

Wow and flutter is pretty good for tape. There's no way that thing goes down to 30 Hz and up to 18KHz!!!!
60 at the least and 12 at the highest, probably. Signal to Noise is shit.

a good parametric eq is best if you know how to deal with it.. - never use some shitty preset effect for removing tape hiss.
