so what do you think this new release of machine drum.
I've only heard two tracks. but I kinda like it. but the
glitches kinda give me a headache.

I hear a lot of Drukqs influences/effects in this record

It's a pretty good record on second listen. Doesn't strike
me near as much as Now You Know or Half The Battle, but
those are tough records to live up to.

it's average. he tries to hard though...on like...every
release...

"he tries to hard"

Travis Stewart is multi talented if you ask me

Exactly how I feel. It really ruins his records for me.
There is great potential but the melodic side of his music
sounds tacked on and underwhelming, particularly since he
uses the same synths so much (especially on Urban Biology).

wow, i just found out about this album a couple weeks ago,
which is silly since we're from the same state.

this is my first listen and i'm pretty happy with it so far.
i need to buy this and urban biology. i didn't relally like
half the battle though. he's pretty interesting live too. he
played at a small crappy club down the street from my house
with like 10 people there. he still rocked it hard and
rubbed his face all over the wall.

Is "rubbed his face all over the wall" a metaphor for
something or did he actually do that?

Maybe he means faeces. Easy typo to make.

haha, no, he kind of spazzed out and was all over the wall.
it was awesome. he's pretty energenic and gets really into
his act. there was even some emceeing, weird vocal noises,
and screaming at random audience people.
