Record the audio stream using an audio application recording
straight from the soundcard mixer.

yeah, i've been trying to find a proper one, this far
everything has sucked, and actually none have worked, any
programs you'd like to recommend?

I use sound forge, but anything like that (wavelab etc.)
will do the trick.
