Has an electronic musician ever died out? This just occurred to me, maybe its not as interesting as I think it is...but, for example all pop/rap/rock stars, come and go, but has any electronica artist ever just left the scene like the spice girls? Maybe they have not because the genre is just too new...but I dunno, maybe kraftwerk, or FSOL somewhat left the focus of the scene, I'm not really sure.

some of the old-timers are still churning it out... vangelis, jean michel jarre
i don't think spice girls et al are really in it for the music though... just a quick buck, they know their shallow crap will be out of fashion in a few weeks
