I've been to the Monolake. There, I could hear Momentum, and
I really enjoyed it

it's pretty darn great, aside from that once track amazon
which has sounds that remind me of birds

reminds me of bola in a way. a bit slower with less melody

i have got the desert ep, fantastic track on there called
gobi. also piercing music, a really early release, and the
signal to noise album. all really ambient compared to
momentum.

wow. an old thread of mine bumped.. never happens!

i am enjoying the new album 'polygon cities' but i still
prefer momentum.

Polygon Cities= electronique album of the year for me. Might
be my favorite Monolake but that might just be the Honeymoon
Effect.

monolake is good.

monolake aka robert henke is the lead programmer/creator of
Abelton Live.

so i guess, to bring in the bible, robert henke is like an
apostle of bedroom musicians / underlaid full grown men.

monolake is/was actaully two guys. but I think robert left
because he's too busy working on ableton. I'm not sure
though.

I bought Cinemascope and Momentum yesterday, now I have four
albums by Monolake! It feels good to actually own these
cd's. And the artwork is just swell, too.

If you're still not sure: check out any album. Other than
the above mentioned albums, the first one Hong Kong is great
too, very lush.

Monolake has nothing to do with Amber, though
