Been listening to Mikey P all day... Lunatic Harness has to have the BEST production I've ever heard, every track is just SO polished and lush. His mu-ziq is complex, too... so much going on, so many neat sounds. Approaching Menace has to have the meanest beats I've ever heard, fuck Venetian Snares. So who else likes Paradinas, and what's yer fave tracks? |

I've been really getting into his music alot more lately. It seems like the more I hear, the more I like it and keep searching for more. I like the how he layeres funky beats and drum n' bass over gentler background melodies, making the music very relaxing, yet still very stimulating and danceable. I still have alot to hear, but right now my favorites are Hasty Boom Alert, My Little Beautiful, Melancho, Balsa lightning, Midwinter Log, the Motorbike track, and Amboit. And of course his remix of On, the song that first got me interested in his mu-ziq. |

Sometimes I find myself wishing he'd STOP with the beats, or at least slow them down... some of the backdrops are so gorgeous... Catkin and Teasel and Midwinter Log, I wish they had ''simpler'' beats. |

I think he is very very talented and imaginative with his music. Yes his production is quite stunning, only track i thought could have been better produced was Lunatic Harness, or maybe its just my mp3...i loooove World Of Leather off Royal Astronomy. |

Yes, Melancho is great. I have almost everything hes done. I used to like him and "IDM" {dislike that term a lot} a lot more before... but now after Drukqs was released I got sorta turned off by all that style. |
