I've heard O-town are kicking it right now. check the
vocals, they can really use auto tune.

raymond junes from cock10 on 2002-01-27 01:51 [#00075226]

yeah and in like "AARON CARTER" quite really. off being
stuttery and little the little fella drop beats like an
irish. thatsd
...because you do.

Missing in Ackton on 2002-01-27 01:55 [#00075228]

Arron has got the moves! Have you checked Billy ray Cyrus's
new track on dead dog? it's like country music mixed with
dirty chicago beatz.

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2002-01-27 02:01 [#00075232]

I'm too tired to think of a smart-ass reply, so just buy
Drukqs.

richmond johns from cock12 on 2002-01-27 02:01 [#00075233]

no i hav´nt checked it out yet, but in a not too distant
future i will, when i get my hands out of my arse. buba
sparxkskxks is a treat. he makes me want to strumble like
anything? yeahe and that twat shakira got the moves already,
cant argue bout anything. now and then i gets slippery
though but its nothng really just amatter of timing watching
television while eating, which is´nt a very good idea.

sining on surf waves on 2002-01-27 04:38 [#00075262]

buy a cd? buy? what are you talking about?

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2002-01-27 04:57 [#00075267]

My thoughts exactly... are you insane? Burn the fucking
thing.

Spud from Susanville, CA on 2002-01-27 11:34 [#00075323]

Don't listen to the stupid dumbasses who think Drukqs suck,
they wouldn't know good music if they heard it. Either buy
it or burn it, your choice.

J198 from warp mart on 2002-01-27 11:56 [#00075326]

burn it? are u fucking serious? how can you call yourself an
aphex fan when you refuse to pay up a few bucks and own the
damn original. man, thats just fucking lame. Downloading
albums is sad.

grinningcat on 2002-01-27 19:34 [#00075365]

hear hear!!

i was told on soulseek chat that autechre dont need my
money.... saying i shud download it. but thats like raping
their music. without my money there wud be no autechre or
aphex twin or spusher !!

The_Funkmaster from Newfoundland, Canada on 2002-01-27 19:35 [#00075366]

you have to buy it... MP3's are no good... you need the art
work, and the real cd and all that cool stuff...

Spud from Susanville, CA on 2002-01-27 20:57 [#00075385]

No J198, you are the sad one for saying that you can't be an
aphex twin fan by burning the cds. That's why Kazaa and all
the rest of those programs, so you don't have to pay stupid!
Why go through all the trouble trying to find all the Aphex
cds when you can just download them at home? It doesn't
matter if you buy them or burn them, if you are still an
Aphex Twin fan at heart then it's all good. Think about that
moron.

shameful anonymous on 2002-01-27 21:03 [#00075388]

if you really appreciate an artist, you should buy the damn
CDs for two reasons. Firstly, to support them, but also
because mp3s are shit in terms of sounc qualtiy when
compared to the CD originals.

And in IDM and the like, the difference is even more
apparent. Summary: buy that AFX, you gobs.

Jarworski from Wales on 2002-01-27 21:09 [#00075389]

bollocks

my-little-sister from Kent, UK on 2002-01-27 21:28 [#00075391]

downloading stuff's oh cay, but buying is better. I download
LOADS of stuff, but if I find it in the shops (and I've got
enough money) then I buy it.

Spud from Susanville, CA on 2002-01-27 23:31 [#00075427]

If you appreciate the artist, then you will do whatever it
takes to get the music. You probably download a bunch of
shit yourself so don't act like your shit don't stink.

The_Funkmaster from Newfoundland, Canada on 2002-01-28 00:54 [#00075446]

I usually just download songs that I like, but wouldn't
really consider buying the album, cause I just like the one
song... and then other times I might download the whole
album to see what it's like, but if it was good I'd
definately buy the album... I like portable music, and right
now MP3's aren't portable for me, so cds are the way to
go...

sining on surf waves on 2002-01-28 01:53 [#00075465]

actually i was joking about burning drukqs, i just wanted to
see how dweebs would agree with that, a lot of the people
here seem like the type who claim they have albums but all
they really have is loads of mp3s, half they have not even
listened to, i think they are lame.

of course, if you actually want to here the bass and treble
from drukqs, you might just want to buy it. or you can

JOB on 2002-01-28 02:02 [#00075469]

yes mp3s arent the same as cds. Quality wise if your picky
like me then u go with the cd, and i dont bs about my cd
collection i say what i own!

jeff on 2002-01-28 02:20 [#00075477]

If it doesn't work on an mp3 level than there's something
wrong. If it's sonic experiments, okay.

The slight reduction of bandwidth/ clarity etc is putting
you off then........

buy the album(to check it out for 'real'?)

realize it's not what you like.

Stop being so anal! if it doesn't work mono on a shitty
radio, you're asking the music to fullfill parts in your
life that would be better nourished by other means.

Spud from Susanville, CA on 2002-01-28 03:04 [#00075516]

Just because you burn cds doesn't make you a dweeb, sheesh.
Think next time!

m on 2002-01-28 07:38 [#00075580]

couldn't artists team up and sue people or change some law
or something. I thought the rule was you could download and
trade just for personal use, but something like soulseek is
a huge sharing network.

m on 2002-01-28 07:49 [#00075582]

but still, this obscure electronic music isn't popular
enough for an artist to make a living unless you're on warp
or something. britney spears faces the same mp3 dilema but
she's rich (I think..). also people who are into electronic
music tend to be into computers and would tend to find
something like soulseek where that is possible.

Xanatos from NYC on 2002-01-28 07:51 [#00075583]

Facilitating mass file sharing (ie Napster, Soulseek,
Morpheus) should be illegal, but until it is, I've expanded
my electronic music collection by easily 100x!

The wierd thing is that the Vinyl's/CD's I actually buy are
artists who really don't need the money (i.e. RDJ). I
bought Drukqs, and I would tell you in a second to buy it
over any squarepusher CD. However, If you don't own Come to
Daddy, Richard D James Album, or I Care Because You Do, buy
those first.
The next album I'll actually buy is Geodaddi on vinyl, if
they press it.

Its the no-names off small labels whose records I (we)
should be buying! Not the #1 sellers on warp records! =),
oh well..

burn drukqs, warp records wont cry over it, neither will rdj
in his tank, but if you like something off
planet-mu/tigerbeat6 or less extravagently wealthy artists
etc, buy it!

jand from Essex on 2002-01-28 09:43 [#00075606]

It's a fairly widely known fact that during the reign of
Napster CD sales rose dramatically...people were happier
buying something once they'd had a chance to try it out....

Now Napster's gone, CD sales are once more on the decline...

Chachlah from fuck off on 2002-01-28 09:55 [#00075609]

Buy Drukqs or Go Plastic by Squarepusher
