Have you heard their first album? It's much more direct than the second, less ambience. I was lucky enough to see them play in Iceland about three years ago? Really powerfull live.

Von you mean? No, I haven't heard it, but if I ever see it I'll definately be buying it... I love their new album... and the ambience is part of what makes it so great...
actually the video for track 2 from the new album (again I'm not even trying to spell the title) was on The Wedge last night... I caught the last little bit, but I had seem it before... I'm guessing that it's probably filmed in Iceland, but what a beautiful scene huh? I love the video, really fits the song well...

and actually, speaking of The Wedge, it was a best of show, and that particular video was number 1 for the year... not bad...

I went for a big long walk the other day with my dad through this hilly forest trail, and I'm still sore... but I'm a wuss... if I had to run in track and field I'd die!!! :)

haha..My favourite thing to do lately is go for walks around my neighbourhood four times or whatever. I take 3 cd's with me and just walk for a few hours. Good exercise (which i desperately need.)
btw, what is your fav walking music? well, what music/cd gets your moving anyway?

I don't walk that much, but last year I was getting the bus home, and walking home from the bus stop I used to love listening to Boards of Canada (heh, seems I'm always talking about these guys) because it's really naturey music right... but I used to listen to anything really... I'm going to have to try that trail I walked the other day with some music sometime!!

yeah, I love listening to Geogaddi when I'm walking these days... alot of people missunderstand this album, saying all the short tracks are usless fillers, when they're actually a delicate adhesive binding the album together, making it function as a whole much better than just isolated individual tracks

yes, I agree... I find that Geogaddi needs to be listened as a whole from beginning to end... the small songs, like you said, really bind the album together... however you can listen to it as separate tracks, because short ones like In the Annexe, Over the Horizen Radar, and Ready Lets Go, etc, are all great!!!

Dandelion's music is reversed.. i love it! My bro has it on vinyl, so we played it backwards, and the part that says "When lava flows underwater, it behaves differently" , the 'water' is slowed down slightly for the second syllable, and it almost says "HAIL HITLER"
creepy
