Before this film what was the previous "best film"?

Perhaps based on that information i can see if our taste our
the same.

Very good film. Weirdly touching at times. I found the scene
with Joel walking around the beach house as water comes in
particularly enchanting, the sound of waves with the music
and the whole concept of the scene combined to create odd
feelings in my brain and body.
