Everytime I hear "4" I can close my eyes and see like a park scene:
But everything is sped up...like time lapsed...just people going about their everyday buisness...oblivious....
Oh well maybe I am crazy...I can picture all kinds of things for different tracks....
Anyone else ever close their eyes and visualize?

For Everyday, I picture a serene suburban scene, which slowly gets more hectic as the day goes on, and some housewife breaking her back for her ungrateful family. ''Get me another tie, get me another shirt'', etc...
For Custodian Discount and Wabby Legs, I picture a hotel or office building after hours. When the lights go out, all these crazy creatures and people come out and party in the halls. (including the Rhubears!) The night watchmen walks down the hall perioically, and eveyone hides. The patrolling guard looks a LOT like Richard.

Hell yeah......
How about "Goon Gumpas"....
Something kinda of kubrick-esque....long slow pans through hallways and rooms....only this would be of old ballrooms and four star hotels....
Richard would be the doorman letting you in at the beginning...

Actually, 4 has a video, sort of. It's in a anti-drugs commercial. Its this animation where it's all black and this girl is drawn in white. She changes into all these different jobs and such. It's cool too because she moves to the beat of the song. This commercial was the first time I heard an Aphex twin song, of course I didn't know it was Aphex at the time.

In answer to anyones questions about this commercial: I've realised that the work on that commercial was done by the good people at presstube.com then called halfempty.com. I cam on this connection just by chance. You can see the original work here:
http://www.halfempty.com/james/intro1.htm
Its simply the opening loop from '4' repeated over and over again. I realize that it was simply the work of the halfempty people and RDJ probably had nothing to do with it, except that they possibly requested rights to put it on TV from Warp.
So the point is that no, there is probably no connection between the commercial and Drukqs.
If anyone has a chance check out the work on presstube.com its some fucking amazing flash. They won Flash Forward 2001 for the art section.
It doesn't surprise me at all...because anyone who likes aphex will probably like presstube, and anyone who likes presstube will probably like aphex, check it out and see what I mean.

Ironlung, I have a whole video idea for 54 Cymru Beats. I can't describe it but I have a visual for all 5 minutes of it. Its a guy basically being chased by robots/half robots through a city, but its ingenius, I swear, when the melody comes in at about 1:11 he the guy is cornered in an allyway and he just floats upwards over the wall. And then the chase continues, when all the voices go "Pappy Pear" (or gummy bear), its the head robot assigning his underlings to go around each way to meet the guy around the back. I have lots more, listen to the song you might hear it...
I just need $10,000 to make it. If you have it, and want to be executive producer drop on by to NY =).

For some reason 54 cymru beats gives me visuals of nuclear explosions. I actually ran some videos of nucs at different speeds during it, and it seemed to go with the song perfectly :o

Icct Hedral from ICBYD reminds me of death... no visuals, just black, cold death.
Another track that really gives me some nice imagery in my head is At the Heart of it All. I picture some guy near death with oxygen tubes shoved up his nose and mouth, and his family is at his bedside, crying. We see everything through his eyes, and as he dies, his vision gets bad, things get blurred, and his family turns into really ugly demons.
At the end, the demon doctor throws a sheet over him, and the ''video'' fades out.

i distinctly hear (and hence visualize) the sound of a match being struck and lit in "at the heart of it all". that song gives me visions of crime/vandalism, like someone pouring gasoline in someone's basement and then lighting a match and throwing it down in the gas. the song also reminds me of the military. i get to play it monday on my first show of the semester, i'm excited.

Trees, or track 9 disc one from SAWII sounds like a spaceship is coming to abduct me... freaky stuff... Start as You MEan to Go On has sounded like I was in the forest during a violent storm, and Icct Hedral I can picture myself running down a dark corrider, and then falling through a trapdoor... freaky stuff...

track 4 from disc two is very spooky... I'm listening to it now and I can almost picture myself in this place, almost like a nothingness, and all around me these sounds are floating in the wind... and then at the end this giant insect comes and eats me... very unsettling indeed!!!

Thank you for bumping this up... this is my favorite topic ever, yet it gets almost NO attention!
St Micheal's opening reminds me of cows grazing, and the farmer is milking this angry one. They all pissed off and stampede outta there!

Mt. St. Michael's makes me think of a city about to be attacked, I think.
I do that a lot, the visualizations. Usually it becomes someone running around shooting things, or flying through some sort of color-flying space area. Or large groups of people doing various things to represent musical elements...
Movies will ruin you.
Thank you Holden Caulfield.

When I listen "heliosphan" I can see a crew of astronauts who are walking on mars, or another misterious planet.
When I listen Arched Maid Via RDJ I view Richard D. James with his headphones while was creating this amazing song.

Also, with 54 cymru beats, I visualize the creation of an intelligent robot at the start of the song. Throughout the song, more and more of these robots are made, and they are made to do all our work for us, like slaves.
When the voice comes in 2 minutes into the song, I picture a crew of the robots huddled around each other plotting an uprising against the humans.
4 minutes in, their about to start they're offensive, and when the song starts going crazy, they're attacking.
When the crazy beats stop, I see the robots all sitting around, relaxing, with big rdj smiles on their faces, with humans doing the slave labor they once did.
