i have to wait and see what they are playing, after that new record. to be honest i'd like them to skip over it completely, but hey, my guess is that i'm out of luck. |

they'll probably play lots of old material as well. that's what they did when i saw them a few months ago. it was mostly music from older albums. besides, hearing their new songs live is much different than the way it sounds on the record. that's what really won me over on their new album - the live performances of the songs. it was one of the absolute best concerts i've ever been to. everything about it was excellent. |

Of interest to many board members: according to Otto Von Schirach is confirmed for all North American dates. cevin key has said on the litany messageboard that the Locust will also be performing on some dates. |

Hmm, Otto's music is pretty cool. Although very hit and miss IMHO. I havn't heard Global Speaker Fisting yet, though. He also did some programming and stuff on the new Skinny Puppy album. I'm not entirely certain about The Locust, though. I only know that it's a noise-rock band. Look em up on allmusic.com or something. |

Global Speaker Fisting is a rather amusing album; is one of the guy's influences Mike Patton? I showed the album to a friend who's a reasonably big Patton fan and he loves it. |

Holy crap! I just downloaded track 3 - Goat Sperm. Fuckin' hilarious. If you don't feel like downloading there's a few samples I know The Locust isn't a skinny puppy side-project (i hate how pretentious that sounds). I want to go to the Chicago show, but I don't have a vehicle :( |
