POOR AGAIN

nacmat from Spain on 2002-01-24 17:42 [#00074492]

After christmas time, and thanks to my "family´s
contribution" I managed to save "quite a lot of money"... so
I thought to myself:hey nac! its time since you cant buy any
CD- and so did I, I was so hungry of new and good music that
I have bought till I ran out of money.
Before this happened I had money but I didnt know aphex,
autechre or squarepusher (I knew them but didnt have any of
their records, and actually didnt really understand their
music), now i Know them but I dont have money...
And my girlfriend is very ungry because i spent all this
money in CDs instead of saving it for a holiday trip with
her...
here is what I bought:
Photek- modus operandi
Leila- courtesy of choice
Aphex- saw 85-92
saw II
surfing on sine waves
classics
icbyd
singles collection 51/13
rdj album
come to daddy
drukqs
Autechre- incunabula
amber
tri repeate
chiastic slide
lp5
ep7
confield
Squarepusher- Music is rotted one note
go plastic
4hero- two pages

OK WHAT DO YOU THINK?

A) NACMAT IS FUCKING STUPID
B) NACMAT KNOWS HOW TO SPEND HIS MONEY
C) DONT BOTHER ME
D) YOU SUCK
E) NON OF THE ABOVE ANSWERS IS CORRECT

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2002-01-24 18:09 [#00074501]

I just spent almost 1000 dollars on a PS2 and games...

I don't fucking care. Might as well live it up now, I'm
destined to be a slave eventually anyway.

You won! You got some good stuff

Narkotic from stupid american on 2002-01-24 21:19 [#00074561]

yeah keep saying that, and when i retire at age 40 and you
are all slaving to the bone till the age of 70 to pay for
your bills and playstation games!

The_Funkmaster from Newfoundland, Canada on 2002-01-24 21:57 [#00074571]

B is my answer!!! Man, that is a lot of cds though... I
usually buy a cd every pay check... I bought two on monday,
and that was pretty extravagent for me... but hey, I'd love
to go to the store and buy 25 cds... that would rock...

Jarworski from Wales on 2002-01-24 22:14 [#00074584]

I don't think I'm gonna buy many cds any more.. now I've got
a PC and a CD writer it seems pointless... since I was 10
that's all I ever really spent my money on, I used to buy
about 40 a week, but no more

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2002-01-24 22:19 [#00074587]

Jaworski, same here! I have a CD burner, I'll never spend
money on CDs again! I look at my collection, and I CURSE
myself for wasting all that money... damn.

Taoist Blockade from Vancouver Canada on 2002-01-24 22:32 [#00074593]

Good picks man. I buy like 5 cds a week (over 600 in my
collection) I think its worth it. Screw holidays, you come
hoe from a holiday youve got nothing come home from the
record store.....Food and holidays are the biggest scam
ever, think about conditioner, no one needs that crap. Just
eat cheap and healthy. Thats what I say.

Taxi on 2002-01-25 00:54 [#00074624]

You did alright kid. Specially for someone who didn't
understand that stuff b4 they started the buying spree. God
is smiling upon you.

The_Funkmaster from Newfoundland, Canada on 2002-01-25 01:40 [#00074627]

I like MP3's for certain songs I like from the radio that I
would never buy the full album... but for groups and artists
that I really like, and want the full album, I have to buy
it... it's just not the same...

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2002-01-25 02:05 [#00074635]

Actually, I hear ya. I'll buy anything the Beatles put out,
and I'll buy anything by Aphex that I can find here. (RDJ
and Drukqs, that's all I've found, and I bought the real
thing). But I can't be bothered to order stuff in and spend
a fortune on stuff that I aleady have burned.

The_Funkmaster from Newfoundland, Canada on 2002-01-25 02:08 [#00074636]

Plus, I just love going to the record store, and shopping
around...

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2002-01-25 02:16 [#00074641]

I was in Musicworld the other day, just browsing... not
buying, of course. ;-) I used to work there, for a VERY
brief period. But I was fired for ''tardiness''...

The_Funkmaster from Newfoundland, Canada on 2002-01-25 02:18 [#00074642]

oh my goodness, I'd love to work in a music store... I'd own
every cd known to man... it's my dream...

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2002-01-25 02:24 [#00074645]

I was hired for my musical knowledge... they interviewed
some ''victims'', and I aced the interview.

That's a decision the manager regreted. :-D
