Totally non-Aphex related;
I really really want to go to both of these places... has anyone ever been to either? Which one is better? Depressingly the crappy trains in the UK make it seem that I can go to Normandy quicker and cheaper than to Penzance.

i've slept at mont st michel & while tourists left i heard lovely (bout loudly) bells. the sound was familiar (the same bells you hear when the trk starts, recorded there).
a beatiful place. walking around the castle / church at night is ace. my grand ma knows a nun who lives there (the nun used to be a top model for jean paul gaulthier...)
