yesterday mulholland drive was on tv here. during that
casting for the 50s like movie female actors performed to
the playback of two euphoric 1950s songs. what are these
songs called?

soundtrack but since i don't know the names i don't know and
i don't feel like downloading the whole soundtrack to find
out.

As I am generous I just looked at the credits on the DVD.

UMUMUM I think one is called 'Sixteen Reasons' performed by
Connie Stevens apparently, don't know if its famous or not.
The only other one that looks like it could be it is 'I've
Told Every Little Star' by Linda Scott.

I just gave them a listen on the DVD... yea I think Lynch
has a knack for choosing songs that suit the mood. 'In
Dreams' in Blue Velvet is perfect :)

Yeah, I really like these as well they're really nice, easy
and fluffy. The rest of the soundtrack is nice as well. I
forget the composer's name, Angelo something or other, he's
good.

Angelo Bandalemetti or something like that.

David Lynch is the best by the way.

Angelo Badalamenti. most of his soundtracks are amazing.

tip for the next time:

you can find full soundtrack-listings on IMdb.

and, you can look up the soundtrack-cd on Amazon.com - they
have full tracklistings there, and if you're lucky they have
samples up too.
