Yesterday was my birthday, so i decided that i could allow myself to do some serious record shopping. so i went to selectadisc (the best record shop in notts?) and was well shocked with what i found.......a brand new copy of saw 2 for £16.99, fsol accelerator for £9.99 brand new, autechre garbage for 6.99 new, old dj mink record for 6.99 new. apparently the owner had been down to london diggin about in dusty warehouses and this is what he foud. and on top of that i got a copy of the new bola album on limited picture disc too. and i thought it was all sold out. a good birthday in the end....anyone else got any bargains lately? by the way the have loads more of these records and more if anyone else want a copy of these...... |

Matador records compi Artists like Red Snapper, pavement, cornelius, mogwai and yo la tengo. 3 CDs for £7.99 on amazon.co.uk If that isnt a bargin, then i dont know what is. Perhaps that cheaper. |

yesterday i was looking at a local record stores online store for bargains and mistakes (they're still quite amatuerish and new to online shopping) and they sell 2nd hand stuff too. i looked under aphex twin stuff and they had the caustic window compiliation for $64.95(NZ). approx. 20 pounds or $25 (US). that is double what we pay for normal cds! so i did a search under caustic window and they had the compilation (new) for $19.95 (NZ) approx 6 pounds or $8 (US). since we have to pay import prices for aphex stuff this was a real find/fuck up in pricing. i bought it straight away. now i just have to wait 3 weeks for it to arrive since it is an import. shipping is free though:) |
