Taxi on 2002-01-23 13:17 [#00074030]

Why did Drukqs suck so much?

(Sorry, if it hadn't been me it would have been someone
else)

dosle from technodump.com on 2002-01-23 13:18 [#00074031]

'stamp my forehead, aye.'

BaseFree on 2002-01-23 13:19 [#00074032]

"you've got plenty of money; why not give me some?"

chapman from UK on 2002-01-23 14:03 [#00074043]

can i have some serious suggestions for my possible
interviews with him please

Fernz on 2002-01-23 14:10 [#00074044]

Who's the milkman's wife then, eh...?

doki from grmny on 2002-01-23 15:52 [#00074082]

i´d try to make out a night on drugs with him - the best
would be in his bankvault ... man that would be insane ...

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2002-01-23 16:34 [#00074105]

I'd ask if he likes the Beatles.

Does anyone here know if he does, has he ever mentioned them
in an interview or anything?

wizards teeth on 2002-01-23 16:50 [#00074121]

Would you go to Gatecrasher ?

Who do you give big up respect to ?

Did you enjoy Back to the Future 1,2 or 3 most ?

Are you a communist ?

If you had to shag one famous transvestite / transexual who
would you choose:

1. Lily Savage

2. Nicholas Lyndhirst in the WHS smiths adverts

3. Patrick Swayze in that film ?

If the Queen Asked you to do a remix of the national anthem
for her jubilie, would you do it ?

If you were stuck on a dessert island with a music studio
and a limmitless supplu of food, would you sacrifice the
limitless supply of food for the music studio or would you
rather make music for one year then starve ?

If you could interview one of the following for an hour who
would it be:

1. the Devil
or
2. God ?

Do you like my new shoes ?

If you could have invented an item what would you have
chosen from this list :

1. Radiators

2. Those things that look like lamp shades that fit round
dogs heads when they have eye infections

3. Fake plastic dog dirts?

Maximus Volumus aka Xamamx from Leaving Cliveland on 2002-01-23 17:13 [#00074132]

I'd just say 'Hi' or smile. I wouldn't stop him in the
street, thats just rudeness.

DiscoVan on 2002-01-23 17:21 [#00074136]

Ifd see RdJ on the street, I d start to shout "Come to daddy
come to daddy" And than Id start to laugh, REAL LOUD...

mookid on 2002-01-23 17:58 [#00074142]

my mate nearly met him once, he pushed past my mate to get
to the bar, at some gig, but he was tripping and couldnt
think of anything to say, doh!

Spud from Susanville, CA on 2002-01-23 20:04 [#00074177]

If I saw RDJ I would ask him these questions:

Who is speaking at the beginning of IZ-US?

Are there any other songs of yours that are like or kind of
like "Come To Daddy?"

Do you believe in God and/or Satan?

What is your least favorite song that you have produced?

Most favorite song you have produced?

Are there any songs of yours that have your voice on them?

What other aliases do you go by beside Aphex Twin, Caustic
Window, and Polygon Window?

Is there any way that I could make that wicked ass smile
that you make?

What is up with the title for the song that has a huge
equation?

Is there any way to solve the equation?

What do you primarily use (computer and programming wise)
for your songs?

Do you like cats?

Out of all your videos, which one are you most proud of?

(Taxi, you suck, not Drukqs)

zetre on 2002-01-23 20:16 [#00074180]

Can I have a short peep up your arse?

|REFLEX| from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2002-01-23 21:48 [#00074206]

Probably just keep walking, what does it matter? Its just
some guy, some people talk as if hes some sort of new age
god or something.

Jimmy from DE on 2002-01-23 21:50 [#00074208]

spud its probably rdj himself at the beginning of iz-us,
just fucked up.

/-T|K|R-\\\\ from the start on 2002-01-23 21:55 [#00074214]

and I'd also ask everything here or to be asked here on this
message board as we already do, in a kinda round about way.

silverflux from NYC on 2002-01-24 01:15 [#00074279]

i would ask him what books he has read.

corngrower from Iowa on 2002-01-24 01:33 [#00074285]

All the voices in Come to Daddy, including IZ-US, are rdj's,
only computer manipulated to sound like children.

FreakyNinoBrown from usass on 2002-01-24 01:42 [#00074294]

do you want to smoke a blunt?

doki from grmny on 2002-01-24 09:50 [#00074376]

ophecks: don´t ask me where i read this, but there was a
snippet where he talked about pop in general and also the
beatles ... but it was more like analysing the whole, so he
didn´t really say he likes them, but pointed out how
important that part of history (pop) was, too ...

nacmat from spain on 2002-01-24 11:22 [#00074397]

beatles invented everything... they are the highest level
music has ever reached.

Kalaim Badkaama from France on 2002-01-24 12:03 [#00074406]

Like nino brown.

=8 BUDBURNER TILL DEATH! 8=

Chri5py from UK on 2002-01-24 12:18 [#00074413]

Taxi: what would he say back to you if you said that?

"Who made a fuck load of money for doing a "sucky album"?
Not you cunt!"

Chri5py from UK on 2002-01-24 12:21 [#00074414]

|REFLEX|: come on man. If you treat him as a normal peson
and not a God, do you treat everyone you know like that?

I'd ask him if he minded talking to me first. That would be
better.

dave from canada on 2002-01-24 13:49 [#00074423]

i would probably try to start some kind of frendly
conversation that wouldent go very far because i would be
pissing my pants or somthing dumb like that

|REFLEX| from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2002-01-24 13:58 [#00074424]

Chri5py: yes, I treat everyone like a normal person, hes
just some guy, he doesnt want to talk to his fans, otherwise
hed be on chat once a week or some such nonsense. I really
doubt he cares if someone likes him or not. Like all these
people "oh Id ask him this, and then that, and then this"
all these weird things that he doesnt want to talk about,
hes just some dude he happens to make music and you like, so
what?

Robin from Sweden on 2002-01-24 14:43 [#00074430]

I would beg of him to release Melodies From Mars and do the
most pathetic things.

doki from grmny on 2002-01-24 14:48 [#00074432]

what - give him a blow? ;)

Robin from Sweden on 2002-01-24 14:50 [#00074433]

Hopefully it would not come to that, he said in some article
that he would not like to have a homosexual experience.

I would probably just cling to his legs so that he couldn't
walk, and people would look funnily at us and I would shout:
"You gotta help me man!"

thom on 2002-01-24 14:55 [#00074435]

i would ask him if he wanted to get high in his bankvault.
That would be some crazy shit!! Getting stoned with Richard
the man himself.

doki from grmny on 2002-01-24 14:59 [#00074438]

yeah, good idea (read above) ... ;)

G Man from In da bowels of da oith on 2002-01-24 15:19 [#00074443]

I did meet him, over Christmas, at a party in London - his
mates were doing one of the rooms, playing dub reggae. He
was sitting on the stairs, and chemically relaxed as I was,
I instantly marched over to him and asked was he RDJ. He
smiled and said yes, and I spent a good 20 mins to half an
hour having a chat with him. He was very relaxed and
approachable, and told me some interesting things, about his
early DJing in Cornwall (A GOOD THING TO ASK HIM), his
attempts to get his lost Powerbook back, his approach to
producing (hes very fond of Windowlicker - I offered the
opinion hes never sounded better than on that), and his
opinions on Drukqs (hes very proud of it - I told him I was
a big fan of Meltphace 6, which hes also fond of, and
thought it was really funny/wierd even when I said the
title, something about hearing one of his made up titles
from another person).
Thats all Im gonna share with you people - but he seemed a
well sound, definitely un-fan hating geezer, and having
bought his tunes for about 10 yrs now, knowing them and
having an OPINION on them - well, as a starting point he was
definitely up for chatting at length about the whole thing.

Of course, there are a billion things I now wish Id asked
him, but I dont reckon I did too badly
seeya

eXXailon from NL on 2002-01-24 21:02 [#00074555]

I'd walk after him all day long on a distance of about 1
inch and then shouting: "Leave me alone!" LOL. I'd probably
piss in my pants too.

Spud from Susanville, CA on 2002-01-24 22:13 [#00074581]

No nacmat, you are wrong. Tool is the highest level music
has ever reached.

jingle from london on 2002-01-25 02:13 [#00074639]

you could ask him:

if he thinks plug-ins have ruined electronic music, cos to
much poorly produced stuff gets banged out in about 3
seconds.

will he ever move into any other art/ medium cos he directed
a documentory on channel 4.

is art a science or science an art? if so what does that
make his music?

does he use those laser synth things that disabled kids use
to write music, cos they have trouble playing a keyboard.
they are midi controllers played by moving your body in a
laser field. wicked

top remix/ collaboration ambitions

would he prefer to be deaf or paralysed?

any ambitions yet to fulfill?

what are his plans for rephlex/MEN/ the lost releases like
caustic window 2, mfm, analogue bb5.

what films, books, tv etc is he into.

any plans for a dvd release? surround sound is dope...

etc.

if ya use any of my questions please e-mail me to let me
know

''beatles invented everything... they are the highest level

Amen!

Taxi on 2002-01-25 02:26 [#00074646]

Chri5py;
"Who here made a fuck load of money from doing a "sucky
album"? Not you, you cunt!"

I think he might spend a little more time on his grammar
tho. Then again, maybe not.

conacure from Alaska on 2002-01-25 04:03 [#00074689]

I would ask Richard if he has the ability to turn other
people's faces into his.

Spud from Susanville, CA on 2002-01-25 04:26 [#00074711]

"Tool is the highest level of music"

Now that's amen for you.
