Question
Can a man with no face who only appears in your dreams somehow manage to steal hair samples in reality ?

Dude, that's scary. It might be Mr. Squiggles. He often appears behind my toilet, and a few times in the garden. I wrote a song about him.

oft do i find that same man purchasing lamb basters, which i do not understand seeing that he has no mouth and no way to communicate with merchants. i believe he has developed a complicated series of hand gestures consisting of circling motions and various sounds of his hands making contact with each other. i know this because these sounds cause me to rise out of bed early in the morning as he shops at the market next to my house.
(more seriously though, why does a man without a face and mouth need things such as lamb basters when he cannot eat?)

He might be using these bapsters you talk of to construct some form of face.
Using a bapster as a nose
Two as ears
One as a mouth
and
Mini bapsters as hair
