Bought a new computer, CDs gone wierd

G Man from In da bowels of da oith on 2002-01-23 09:20 [#00073989]

Hello everyone,
just got a second hand computer with soundforge, fruityloops
etc on it, and having a lot of fun with it all (as Ive often
read many of yourselves doing)
BUT......
.......the CD player (using media player) will not play any
of my audio CDs EXCEPT the first one I ever put in there
(which was 'Were Only In It For the Money by' Zappa, but I
digress), it recognises a 'free Internet Access' CD I have
as well, but other audios???? It KNOWS there is a CD in the
drive, but doesnt want to play it, if I go to file open and
double click a track from here, it tells me WMPlayer doesnt
recognize the file format.......
.....any advice/sites welcome I can hit for advice???

Thanx

go through dos to get the files onto your drive and convert
