just incase anyones interested. warning its not entirely
what i want it to sound like structurely, its a rough draft
if you will. the sfx aren't what i wanted to primarily use
either but i believe what i wanted to personify in the song
is attainable after a few listens. comments are welcomed and
thanks for listening.

it's rough i agree but it
sounds like big iron robots walking around in the arctic!
if it were my track, i'd add some more 'color' like maybe
some higher pitched sparkly sounds or wind-chimey stuff! or
some subtle synth-paddy stuff but it aint my track so you
do your thing guy!

hmm, it's very experimental. I did seem to get bored quite
quickly, but there wasn't really enough to keep me
interested. I'm not really sure what you were going for so I
can't really comment further.

sorry tuti, I didnt think too much of it. It sounds like
you are trying to imitate ae but going the wrong way about
it.

ae are who i look upto and you can tell - its highly
influenced by their sound. that be the case its very
difficult i agree to emulate those two. i'm trying my best
to make something enjoyable but also thought provoking. i'll
see what i can come up because its extremely difficult
especially since i'm only working with samples not custom
made sounds. i'm in no rush really theres alot of space for
improvement. thanks for the input :)

imagine "autechre unplugged". they play their songs without
computers, by rubbing microphones against stuff. that's what
this sounds like. :)

can't say i really enjoy listening to it much though.. it
doesn't really have much rhythm or melody, the two things i
enjoy the most about music.

it's an interesting experiment however..

sorry for being so negative. i just thought i'd be brutally
honest.

there is little structure, or at least not a very
interesting one. the sounds are hardly interesting either.
the progression doesn't go anywhere if there is any.

it doesn't leave much to comment upon. this sounds as just
one layer in what could be a track. to call it a track on
it's own makes me think you should work longer on your
music, maybe you're to eager to have something finished that
you can call a "track".

another piece of advice: try listening to a lot more
"avant-garde" electronic music, anything from Stockhausen to
older Hafler Trio, things on labels like Sub Rosa and x-or.
you could pick up a lot about sounddesign and structure from
stuff like that - from what I've heard of your music uptil
now I get the feeling that you have little real background
in the music you're trying to make, which can work great,
but in your case it maybe hindering you.

i really wouldn't qualify that as a track. or music.

jkd its perfectly fine to criticize. i'm just as harsh to
myself in the working process. so i'd like to know what you
the listener gets out of the experience. i need to know
because the creator will always be biased.

gwely i'm not going to put a melody any time soon so dont
hold your breath =) i'm primarily just working on
percussion.

-thanks for listening
