I leave this place for a couple of weeks, and i return to find that aphex twin is nomiated for a brit award. What the frick!! I hope he drives the tank onto stage!! I remeber the good old days of aphex, the endless wandering around vinyl shops looking for those rare tracks, AB2, Joyrex J9 EP, etc. A time when nobody had heard of him. Anybody else wish to join my rantings ?? It would make nice company. PowerPillPacman. |

no. so he is a "pop" personality. i think that is funny. almost all of recent music is hardly commercial, his name is listed despite making no effort at all to be mainstream, one could argue that he has tried to commit "commercial" suicide. so why is obscurity neccessarily better? |

Because i liked it when nobody knew his name, knew his music. I generally dont like the idea of every man/woman and his/her dog being fans to his music. But this is me just being selfish and weird. |
