i just got this e-mail:

"Hey, you live in New York City and need something to do on
New Years Eve? How about Mike Patton and John Zorn at the
Knitting Factory? They will be playing 2 sets. One at 7pm
and one at 10pm. Tickets are $30 for the early show, $35 for
the late one and tickets are very limited! Now THAT is how
to ring in the new year, or at the very least leave some
ringing in your ears."
