very weird MC looking for very weird beats to rap over..please help Ok check this out. I have been Emceeing for like 10 years now but I never had an outlet for it. This was because I never had a computer and I rap about anime, sci-fi and other strange things so I could not go to any MC battles because well I mean .... busting skills about Amdromeda Strain and Vampire Hunter D just don't go over that well plus I like more electronic beats then hip-hop beats. Which brings me to the point of this post. I have just learned the basics of Cubase and what I am doing is importing mp3s or wavs and then just busting straight freestyle off the top of my head on them, fucking with a bit of distortion, filters and reverb ( don't really even know what I am doing in that department either to tell you the truth just trying to make it sound better.) Ok now the REAL point. Right now I want to bust rap over `hard distorted hip-hoppy phat infectious breakcore' So far I have found three tracks by electromeca that float my boat. They are Bass Disorder, Battling Doll Beats and Platinum Bollox. I am going to bust skills over those as well. So yeah it does not have to be breakcore but I want to bust over phat infectious cutting edge ridiculously wicked deviant electronic hip-hoppy beats. NOT standard hip-hop beats even the ill shit like def jux, cage, necro, rubberroom and shit. That stuff is cool but I want the foul shit more on the shitmat/Enduser style kinda mode ya know!?? ya know what I mean? I seriously could use peoples help finding music for me to rap over. If anyone has any suggestions please tell me. look I will level with you guys I need you help. You see after I just busted out to those Electromecca tracks I am now fucked in a good way. |

I can't bust to normal hip-hop beats no mater how ill they are. I was just told to bust raps over kid 606's don't sweat the technic's so I am going to do that but I need more tracks. I am going to try and listen to some Snares stuff and see if anything he has can be rapped over. I want to maybe rap to shitmat and LFO Demon but I just don't think that would work. Can anyone help me find some IDM, Hip-Hopy hard distorted breakcore, Bastardrave, Glitch-Hop ~~~ fucking whatever the fuck its call ill retarded ass experimental electronic beats for me to rap over please? Y'never know unless you try. I'd fucking LOVE to hear a good rap over some xanopticon, but the lack of a coherent time-signature might hinder you, especially for freestyles :D Some of the stuff from Venetian Snares - Huge Chrome Cylinder Box Unfolding might be good for MCing too, as long as 7/8 doesn't bother you all that muchly. I can see some good quasi-saul williams-style doubletime gabber rap going on. Knifehandchop would be good as well, harsh as fook and very "fruityloops" but good for rap acapellas, at least in my experience. |

Gahahaahhahaha! That would be a "no". I can do a semi-decent beatbox if i'm drunk enough though. One of my friends did his final english language project on "drunk speech", how social relationships change after alcohol and all that. He taped the whole 6-hour drinking session... it ended up with me beatboxing inbetween tequila shots and him rapping about how drunk he was. Fucking hilarious, man :D |

W00, triple post award. Setting your "Max D/l" to 0 sets it to "infinite". Setting it to any other number sets how many people can download from you. Max D/l KBPS sets how fast people can download. Higher the number, the faster they can download, and the more bandwidth they eat up. |

If you have a fast connection and lots of files shared, maybe keep it at 3 or 4 for max d/l and somewhere between 5 and 15 for max d/l kbps. If you just want to share your own files rapidly, keep it to 2 max d/l and 0 for d/l max kbps. If you're on dialup, all rules go out of the window. |
