Splitting a mix mp3

I recently compiled a 60+ min mix of hip-hop. I tried to
use a function on Nero to individualize the tracks. But no.
The transition times on Cool Edit Pro were different to the
ones on Nero, and it is really important that I get the
transitions millisecond perfect otherwise when I skip tracks
it will sound very messy.

Does anyone where I can do this quickly, easily and then
burn straight to disc. It would be nice to spend my last
CD-R on a successful mix.

Takes too long.

I want a program that basically lets me select split points
(with preview function), and then burns straight to disc.
There must be a program that does that.

I don´t know if there is a program for that, you can email
Nero about it maybe they will add something like that

the mix can be split in less than 10 minutes with Cool Edit
tho

It's more of a compilation with some bits faded + some FX
added. But if it gets put on the net I'll email you the URL.

Go to notepad and write the following:

FILE "mix.wav" WAV
TRACK 01 AUDIO
PREGAP 00:02:00
INDEX 01 00:00:00
TRACK 02 AUDIO
TITLE "New track"
INDEX 01 03:00:00

It works by using the INDEX field to indicate where in the
wav the track marker should be placed. So in my example, I
split the file mix.wav into two tracks where the first one
is 3 minutes long and the second one will continue until the
end of the file. Keep going like this until you reach the
end of the mix, save the file as filename.cue in the same
folder as the wav, then choose "Burn Image" in Nero and load
the cuefile.

rrrr, you don't need the TITLE field unless you want cd-text

It's easy, man. You just need to work the exact position
where each track starts.

Notepad won't let me save 'cue' files.

doesn't sound very fast to me either. you still have to look
up the exact positions etc.
