i remembered seeing a video on MTV2 about 3 or 4 years ago,
and i've only just remembered what the track was called:
Golden Gaze

does anyone else listen to his stuff, and if so what
releases would you recommend?

:D

I just checked out his latest album, Solarize, and wasnt
impressed.

Golden Greats and Music of the Spheres are both worth a
listen.

I was looking forward to his new album but I haven't heard
it yet, that single is excellent.

Music Of The Spheres is brilliant, buy that.

i just heard Golden Greats. he rocks, harder than hard
rocking objects*

*dr mastah could correct me on this quote.

the album is simple, and strong, that's it. simple voice
simple vocals. what else do you need.

need to check "solarize"

dolphins were monkeys, forever and a day (the guitar solo in
this one: jesus fucking christ), f.e.a.r., keep what ya got,
time is everything,

Yeah, how did these two muppets ever convince anyone they
were worthy of critical attention?

the latest album is not that great at all...all i can
remember after first listen is lots of strings, weak
melodies and a lyrics self-quote from "so many soldiers".
the tracks are quite similar to one another, no energy. and
no bass !!

seems like his best albums are behind him, hope i'm wrong

As others have said, the only thing I really recall about
him is that:

a) He is northern
and
b) He looks like an extra from Planet of the Apes.

Golden Greats is still one of the best 90s albums out there,
i'm holding on to that
