heh on this site - its not aphextwin.nu anymore my
friend, we chat here not only about aphex, the times have
changed, so as music and the site name ( for a reason, i
believe ), besides, even old fanclub should be able to point
weak sides of specific artist, right ? making fan club which
will be only licking artists ass isnt very clever thing to
do.

well, thats what you like to listen to, and it works for
you. some people don't take that approach, so i'm just
saying that debating their opinions is a waste of time.

that there are things better / more interesting that afx,
plus that hes not god anymore ( or maybe not as famous as he

lets solve this in this way - lets wait till analord will be
finally released, lets wait for opinions about it, and then
we will see if ppl are blinded by this whole afx ideology,
or not.
i bet my arse the reviews will be good good awesome good
sweet awesome - which will prove that i wasnt wrong with
saying that afx, for some pl, will be a god whatever he will
do.

you know, the beat album are those you cannot predict how
they will be reviewed.

the best albums are the best albums. i couldn't give a shit
about reviews.
sure, some people here will inevitably love this, but i'm
willing to bet those same people might not have liked
smojphace, or maybe hate classics. also, the excitement of a
new release has to wane before you can gather any real
opinions on it. alot of people don't seem to like
ultravisitor as much now that its been out awhile, whereas
right when it came out, people were going crazy over it.

tryin to prove that some ppl will never learn that afx is
not the only one good musician, right ? thats thw only thing
im tryin to say, for the zylionth time i guess.
anyway, like i said, lets just wait fo rthe release- im nit

i love The Twin the most because, although he didn't invent
electronica, nor claims to, he did, for me, take all the
elements that came before and put them in such an order as
to create Pure Listening Enjoyment. He has a terrific back
catalogue, he is also a great personality, with a tongue in
cheek library of mythos behind him, a sense of humour, an
erratic genius/bollocks record label of his own, and just a
fun guy to listen to. I am going to list every single Aphex
twin track and say why it's special... one day.

i think your arguments have the reverse effect you will just
get the Aphex fans like me more fueld to praise him for what
i think the music is.
Aphex is one of the best music artists any genre and most of
his stuff have been grate hes music is inovative and
versatile and got soul its special in my opinion

it will be good, as in not like the joke that was smoj,
although the first track was just ok. i think there is a
fear that afx will release something like smoj (just
mediocre at best), but i think he did smoj this way on
purpose. but i am still going to not like it as analogue,
and on vinyl. i want a digital/classical album from him,
with all new tracks beeotch.

analord will undoubtably kick ass. the idea of a series is
neat but a bit of a hassle as well and probably equals $.
still we got the net to cop a listen to the records you are
waiting on. The 15 mins of acid cruch drill he played live
in sydney early this year was quite astonishing. i've got a
feeling it will be a partner piece to the venus 17 single.

I am doubting this Analord release. After 26 mixes for cash
and smojphace I think I am beginning to lose faith in a
release that will be as significant as some of his other
work.
I read somewhere that Druqks was released because RDJ left
an mp3 player on a plane, and to make sure he was
financially set (or something like that) he had to release
an album, because he had fear of a lot of his tracks being
shared on the internet. I think his later releases have just
been to annoy us, and I think he has successfully done that.
I anticipate that this Analord release may just be another
piece of crap in a fancy case.
As I like to say, no matter how much you polish a turd, it
will never shine. Lets hope he gives us something to renew
our faith.

well to some extend he put everything out for the money i
believe and once he had that he quite putting out because it
was too much of a hassle. but this release he seems to put
out for the music. but maybe there's a showing he can still
do it factor to it too.

Aphex has said in the past that he's not in the business for
the money anymore. I believe that he's releasing this
because he wants us to hear what he has done. Let's not
doubt his talent ladies. Listen to Drukqs again then SAW II
and remember that this is aphex, the fucking daddy of

and the one directly after) is going to be on analord. The
acid whitelabel tracks.

Same tracks Rich dj'ed in Rome.

its gonna be awesome

just download some of his djsets he did recently, listen to
some of the incredible acid played in it, these tracks are
the best acid ive ever heard, im sure some of them are by
afx,
some examples:

23:40 on the reflex disco assault set
6:00 on the oslo norway set

ofcourse i dont know these are by afx, they just sound like
they are made by him.

and soundmurderer, luke vibert and mu-ziq are saying the
analogue tracks he made are great.

why doubt it?

I have a feeling he releases what he wants and could care
less what anyone thinks. He's obviously capable of repeating
brilliance he's done in the past. He just wants to keep
himself interested. Room full of analogues, who wouldn't.
