This topic is dedicated to the Yellow Magic Orchestra and
the Yellow Magic Orchestra ONLY. The Japanese Kraftwerk,
kimosabi. They're a bit goofy and maybe not as hip as the
'Werk, but isn't Solid State Survivor a riot? Lots of fun. I
wonder if Neil Young was listening to these guys for a few
years before he dropped his mega masterpiece, ''Trans''.
Their debut is cute, too.

I've heard a lot of totally lame electronic Beatles covers
(an entire album of covers done by Vince DiCola of
Transformers and Rocky 4 fame was the worst, Wendy Carlos
polluted their songs at one point, too), but Yellow Magic
Orchestra's ''Daytripper'' cover is the king of Beatles
synth pop covers.
