what are your thoughts about it and do you feel that media
accesibility somewhat destroyed the so called idm?
i'm a bit bitter on that behalf, but it did show us some very
interresting artists aswell..i guess it's the price of the
deal.

organisation

idm was, destroyed by lack of musicality in the first place,
then by the stupidness of the oh-so-open minded artists
trying to follow a much to strict genre definitionand then
of its oh-so-openminded-fans who would not listen to a track
with a guitar riff in it and hence justify the genre
definition.

idm is the attempt to cook with onions only.

It'll all go back to the way it was with the release of
Analord. 2003 will now be known as 2003 BA, Before Analord,
2004 will be 01 AA, After Analord.

how original. maybe you should actually listen to music and
make a judgement instead of mindlessly saying what some
idiots say.

wit a lil music knowledge.

those idiots are the people on this mb who always nag about
electronic music being dead and idm being bla blablabla....
but still hang out here.
my perspectives reach beyond the universe.
you are just generalising. why don't YOU yes YOU go make
some idm (or music) that openminded and innovative.
talk is cheap.

different term to "idm".

well, i don't particularly enjoy the music in the first
place since it sufferes from lack of talent now, and my own
would not be of much help. this board pretty much resembles

what do y'all mean lack of good music, i have consistently
found great electronic/idm/enjoyable music released lately,
it is all a matter of taste, you are arguing something else,
namely "the scene" or "buzz". WHO CARES about that shit,
just enjoy what appeals to you, if nothing appeals to you
then find something that does.

I'm tired of that, too. There's been more than enough
interesting releases by ''IDM artists'' the last few years
to keep my ears occupied. I want some people to cite some
examples of some of the ''crap'' the artists are putting out
now and explain why there's such a dearth of talent.

It's pretty easy to arbitrarily list a bunch of random
names. Why do they suck so bad, what do YOU want to hear
instead of them, and what would you change about the current
scene and sounds?

right...why i think these few artist are a part of the media
bs.

simply cos their music is totaly unimaginative, like
raczynski for instance.
he's got this kinda music that's totally childish,i mean
cmon,my mum can make this kinda stuff.
puta adrum loop and play some nonsence melodies.
instead of em i want to hear a certain level of music
knowledge,i want to feel the damn music on different
levels...not just some semi product.

about the scene...i wouldn't like this to sound pompus, but
i'm trying to bring it to a fresh start with making music
and working in an audio visual organisation.
i think that most of the newcommers here on the board would
be a better substitute.
