another very boring 'recommend new music' thread that can be
used as a 'whatever' thread too

reasons: 1. always willing to discover different music 2. i have a cd in my amazon basket and want to get another one in as well so i can get free shipping (amazon is going to shit these days though)
3. i'm a bit bored right now, and probably other people are bored right now too so if you are that can occupy 3 seconds of your free time
4. if you want to invent new cuss words, show off your genitalia in ascii format or tell crappy jokes here, you can too, it's cool. or just talk about anything.
i already have this stuff (in CD + mp3):
http://perso.calixo.net/~uzim/music-august.jpg + Elysian Fields - Queen Of The Meadow (which i want to find in cd with the "jungle" artwork, i only have it on mp3... btw if you have more stuff of the like, go ahead i really like this)
Juana Molina - Segundo Garbage - Garbage Sachiko M, Toshimaru Nakamura, Otomo Yoshihide - Good Morning Good Night
Kaffe Matthews, Andra Neumaun, Sachiko M - In Case Of Fire Take The Stairs
Akira Yamaoka - Silent Hill 2 OST
probably willing to get some White Stripes, Ween, Noir Désir, Daisy Chainsaw - but if you have more recommendations go ahead.
...with descriptions or audio extracts or other stuff please : )

One of my CDs on eBay sold today for more than it would cost to buy it in the shop.
Anyway, here's a recommendation - Ver Tanzt? by Black Ox Orkestar. Post-rock with Yiddish (or something) vocals.

danbrusca > i talked to a girl yesterday, she sold Chrono Trigger japanese version, without box nor booklet, used, to a guy for €70 ($86, £48). the worst thing is, the cartridge wasn't even working anymore. (poor guy.)
thanks the recommendation, i might check it later - for now, in post-rock i'm waiting for the next Souvaris (i know a member of the band personally).... : )
tolstoyed > thanks that's pretty good!

Ataraxia, Darkwood, Sol Invictus and Ordo Rosarius Equilibro, if you like that kind of gaymedieval folk stuff. That's what I've been listening to alot recently, anyway.
But my favorite album of the last month is Millenium- Begin. Sickeningly beautiful ethereal pop album from 1968. ''The Island'' and ''5 AM'' are just jawbreaking.

Oh, and Tor Lundval and Forma Tadre... because they bear sort of a resemblance to Akira Yamaoka's Silent Hill ambient work on the Silent Hill soundtracks. Well, if not the same SOUND, then the same mood, at least.
I'm going to die unless I get Silent Hill 4 this evening.
