if i were you i would wait a week or so... 1.0 should be out
really soon.

or you could try deleting your install directory completely,
then reinstalling.

i reinstalled and cleaned the registry of his binary, but the
problem is still here.
maybe it's the bug cos of the w2k OS,cos in the release
notes it clearly says that XP is reccomended.
umm,i thought this was the new version, lol.

i'm surfing 0.9.3 on win2k right now with no problems.

i could be a corupted profile.

you could try exporting your bookmarks, then deleting your
profile:

C:\Documents and Settings\your username\Application
Data\Mozilla\Firefox

then reinstalling...

i remember a few people having this problem with 0.9, but i
can't remember how they fixed it now.

it's probably not going to be a registry issue... although i
guess it could be.

firefox stores all your bookmarks and personal settings in a
profile directory. sometimes it gets corrupted, and causes
wierd problems, but if you delete (or rename) it, firefox
will create a new fresh one for you.

just make sure you export your bookmarks before you delete
it, or they'll be lost.
