autocad is a powerhog, get her 1gb ram, or at least 512...

does she want a lighttop, or can she have a beast-heavy
laptop (desktop replacement)???

Is she going to be wakling around with it often, or mainly
going to be perm. at the table.

I hate how DELL writes their own HALs but hey,
whatever...I'm pretty found of their laptops...they hold up
pretty strong and im not too big on compaq/hp type
laptops....

My acer's aces. And if they want to buy that marketing
strapline off of me, it's 20 quid and your car keys.

Yes, Earth, Dell writes a lot of their own Hardware
Application Layers....it's a bitch and I'm not a big fan of
it. It's too much power (firmware control) in the vendor's
hands. Oh well,

Girl + Computer + WebCam > Girl + Computer + AutoCad

=> Fuck autocad off and get your sister to go butt naked on
cam.

I would offer something more constructive but I don't know
anything about computers other than how to initialise the
power source to make it make that clicky sounds until the
pretty pictures appear on the visual showing thing.
