MHTRTC native american indian influence

i'm probably stating the obvious here, but i can hear so
much native american indian stuff in here - the melodies and
the synth patches and the sounds are very much like the
stuff i've heard from native american pieces, and i really
really love it.

i am SO glad that i got hold of this album, it's been a very
very big influence on me and it has been great to hear
something that sounds fresh to me - i had never heard
stuff like this before

this album, to me, sounds really "vintage" - the processing
on it is really gritty....i would never have guessed that it
was made in 1998. it gives me a sense of one going back to
their roots, their origins, and it has influenced me to go
back to my roots musically, and thusly i shall be working on
more industrial sounding tracks in the coming months.

i really can't explain how much this album has affected me.
it probably sounds really lame, but it really has affected
me deeply. and it's a change because usually i'm into really
dark sounding stuff, and this stuff is a hell of a lot more
"nicer" sounding than most of the stuff i listen to

"i've only heard one track from geogaddi, and

please read this sentence out loud, to yourself. maybe a few
times, until you get the message.

*sigh*

you're all looking for something complicated since we're
talkin about boc i guess.

"i've only heard one track from geogaddi, and
that's 1969"

'heyyyyyyy wait a minute, i've heard only ONE track from
geogaddi! gosh! how is this possible? i'd better run to the
nearest store to buy it, own it, love it for the rest of my
life and be able to hear even more native american
influences, and zillions of other beautiful things! why
didn't i think of this before? why? why why why why why?'

seriously dude. why? how?

ok here's the scenario:

about a month ago i had never heard a single track by BoC.
a friend sent me two MP3's, he sent me roygbiv first, and
then 1969.
i only had enough money to buy one album. i asked everyone
on here which album would be best to get if i was a first
time listener, and everyone said MHTRTC.

gegaddi will be my next BoC purchase

i should have listened to them a long time ago

just like i still haven't heard vsnares, or mira calix, or
kid 606, or skinny puppy, or a multitude of other artists on
here

and that's 1969.. like 1 is 1969. 1 is 1969.

but apparently not.

i am too let down.
