New Radian album - sounds more intense than rec. extern - the track Transistor in particular sounds like live musicians jamming along with some of the more abrasive textures on Pan Sonic's Kesto.
They do a great job of integrating the real instruments and electronics - you get the sense that they're listening to each other and cueing off ideas like a good jazz ensemble.
Damn, listening to this stuff makes me want to work with a drummer. The drummer does great "inside" kinda stuff, subtle and thoughtful.

i saw radian some months ago and it was really interesting to see the drummer doing all that non-conventional stuff.
focussing on the silent parts, giving it time to breath...
cool. haven't heard the new one yet though

At a time when I'm finding so much music to be tired, this is still refreshing. It's one of the few things I look forward to hearing - as opposed to throwing something on in the hopes it will catch fire in my ears.

I still have that with "the lemon of pink".
except for the track "take time". it's conceptuality is too dense for my ears.

Hello qrter, you'd like this I think. Not dense at all. It's whipped and fluffy as a young girl's dreams of marshmallow bunny clouds.
