Don't know that. I have his EP with the Mensa Dance Squad track and I love it. Gearhound is, I dunno, maybe too lo-fi. It needs, I dunno, some smoother textures for contrast maybe. |

I really like Gearhound, and a lot of what came out of Tigerbeat6 Records circa 2000-2001. I've been trying to catch Lesser live hear in San Francisco. He mostly performs improv-electronic quartets with the likes of Matmos, Wobbly, and Blevin Blectum. It's been a while since I've heard the stuff off Gearhound, but it sentimentally holds a dear glitched-out little nook in my heart. |
