Fuck, that's a bit depressing. Bjork in "nice voice but
greedy whore" shocker.

I'd love to hear anybody collaborate with anybody else. The
results might be great or they might not, but, as they say,
nothing ventured nothing gained.

Saying that you don't like Bjork (or anyone else for that
matter) is fair enough, but I doubt the situation is as
black and white as "she's coprorate leech sucking the life
out of collaborators" or "she's lovely to work with and
makes everything smell of flowers". I'll reserve judgement.

But, yeah, I'd like to hear a collaboration between Bjork &
Aphex, though I agree that it might not work since they both
appear to have very specific ideas about what they do and
how they do it. Not that I know everything. Or anything.
I'll shut up.

two things.

someone asked if richard ever worked with anybody... dunno
if it was a brainfart or what, but mike & rich is worth
checking out.

secondly, i seem to remember on the warp website for come to
daddy that they had a lists of things richard has done and
richard hasn't done.... one of the things on the list of
what he hasn't done was "get back to bjork about
[collaberating/producting/whatever] her next album"

so rack that up under the aforementioned hackneyed antihero
RDJ aura

Well... there was that documentary on the making of
"Homogenic", and let me tell ya she really has great input
in both the lyrics and especially the sound. She would be
walking on the beach with a portable Yamaha QY-20 sample,
and she would basically put down the basis of one of the
track album. She's also there live singing when they record
the string ensemble, etc...

I'm not talking about the gazillion of remixes here, but the
albums.

to ymenard. Some people just still do not believe the
women can make good music, especially if they are "stars".
They think all the "stars" are stupid just because they are
"popular", and do not think they are popular just because
they may be really talented.
And they really believe Matmos produced bjork's vespertine
album just because Matmos did several samples for it
(actually). Try to read Vespertine credits or interviews.
Try to compare with Matmos records. Matmos DID NOT produce
vespertine. At all. :)) anyone surprised?
