Does anyone have a decent copy of some Jobriath music? I
heard about it at SA, looked it up and found this page
with realaudio samples. It's actually pretty good music, and
trippy to listen to - like an alternate musical history of
the 70s that never quite happened.

'Widely acclaimed today as the first ever openly (and
genuinely) gay rock star, an iconic status which only seems
to harden as time passes, Jobriath can also be described
among the saddest casualties in modern musical history . . .
He passed away in July 1983, of AIDS-related illnesses.'

One of Jobriath's songs is called Earthling.

Bowie recorded an album called Earthling.
