nah, i checked it in software for optical, and its not my
first opto-mouse, so i would know that somethings wrong. the
last ones i was using were not very good, and they werent
detecting even facture on artistic paper.
this one is much much better, and im sure that its a matter
of pad to have it working properly.

If it doesn't work properly on a smooth 1 color peice of
paper your mouse or your mouse settings in software are
phucked.

I own a couple optical mice myself and like you so stated in
your previous post "its not my first opto-mouse, so i would
know that somethings wrong".

Well from what your saying it sounds like something is
wrong.
