My Dad had stroke

Right now he is in intensive care. The doctor told his
girlfriend, that he lost parts of his brain because of his
heavy alcohol abuse.....

Sad thing is this message left me totally cold, me and my
mom, were joking, and I secretly hope he dies.....yes, I
hate my dad that much, and its so fucking funny to see his
trashy "girlfriend" (who called the police on me to get me
out of the house) now being stuck with this fucking sad
asshole....bwahahaha

That's sad on multiple levels. Why do you hate him that
much?

Sorry, or not...

Congratulations.

I dont really know. He never was violent to me or my mom,
but he is the reason why I became such an antisocial loser.
Probably hard to understand if you never lived with an
alcoholic....However Im not bitter, or anything (well yes Im
am) Its just so fun, and satisfying to see him and his
"girlfriend" suffer....

yeah, you need to let that hate go, it'll just make you more
and more bitter and the rest of your life will become even
more shitty than it is now.

and then you did it yourself, so you can't blame him
anymore. time to move on.

That cunt blamed ME and my MOM for my dads poor health, and
called me an socially inept loser who would sooner or later
end up in the gutter.

My spineless Dad just stood there and said nothing.

At that time I was living with my Dad, and she wanted me out
of the house. Funny thing I payed RENT, and bought my own
food etc. and that cunt has the nerve to call me a loser,
tho she was UNEMPLOYED over the last 10 years.

My Dad won't be running around soon and will have to face a
shiload of rehab, which she will have to pay
for......bawahaha.

Nope, not at all....I stoped caring about him a long time
ago. And thats the best thing you can do, if you try to help
a person, and what you get back in return is just more
abuse.

What I mean is learn from his mistakes. And I agree. At some
point you have to emotionally detach yourself from people
who refuse to change or get help regardless of relation. I
guess it's like trying to save a drowing person who's
determined to pull you down with them. Gotta let go.

you should forgive him for his mistakes and move on, not
hate him. that way he'll still have a grip on you.

if he dies the world will probably be a better place.. but
you shouldnt hate him.

i'm aware of that...the prevoius post was just a mind trip.

well, ppl that have the tendency for alcohol are very hard to
understand,let alone reachable.
it's tuff to convince such person to join the rehab...and
then u have the familly.
that's even harder...u gotta rebuild the connections...it's
a painful process.

Yes, very hard to understand. But seriously, it doesnt
matter if he had an unhappy childhood, was cliniclly
depressed, or simply unhappy with his life, all those things
are no excuse to threat other people with disrespect,
especially not your own children and wife

A response to this question would have to depend on what
aspect of a person they believed might pass over into some
kind of an afterlife.

umm,ir kinda wrong here,but that's ok...u still need to
learn a few things about that.

if ur dad had a violent parent the chances are 50/50 that he
becomes the same person like the on he was treated by.
when this question comes up,i'm really scared i don't turn
out to be like my dad.
i mean,i'm totally oposite from him...i don't like violence
and don't solve problems thru it.
but there still is a chance that something goes wrong in ur
adolescent life and u become that kinda monster.
not that u will, but i advice you to get a certain goal in ur
life and stick to it.
wheather it's music, becoming a better person or whatever.
that's crucial for ur further ethics or social development.

that does indeed depend on how you see yourself as a human
being, what makes you you.

for example, I don't believe in the soul. I believe you, as
a person, are your brain. you are unique because of the
particular connections the millions of neurons make (and
constantly change). so when you die, your brain dies, so you
cease to be.

it seems the most logical explanation to me, at this time,
on the information I have.

Consider people who have sustained brain damage too, they
can be radically changed for the worse. Death is unlikely to
improve matters.

yeah, thats the most scientific thing to do.. explain
something in the most logical way you can think of. its a
pain in the ass because you can never tell for sure.

what sound does a falling tree make in an empty forest?
