i've never actually blacked out for more than 15 minutes in
my whole life before today....well yesterday since it's
4:53am right now. (i just woke up)
matt and I were supposed to have an alone day, where it was
just the 2 of us this sunday, and we decided to get drunk...
11 shots and 3 beers later i remember absolutely nothing at
all from yesterday and i just woke up in my own bed with
matt sleeping.
i havn't slept in my own bed in weeks....
i am so confused.
all i can taste is tequilla and puke. i feel like shit and i
have the spins.
fuck.

yeah ive blacked out, the funny thing is that it was during
a shot contest that was recorded, i had 22 beers prior, dont
ask how i was still conscious.

its a strange video... but very funny also.

my dad said that he saved my life because i puked lying on
my back and i would have choked to death on vomit if he
hadnt turned me over on my side.

it's sort of funny you say that... there are 2 things i
remember before 20 minutes ago... i remember being in bed
and my friend sarah coming over, and saying something to her
and her ignoring me and watching her turn around and leave
(don't remember what i said tho), and i remember matt going,
"don't get up i'll clean it!", and feeling my stomache.
yeh, i also woke up naked.

Maybe that will teach you a lesson next time you decide to
have an alone Sunday. Might I suggest orange juice next
time.

As to blacking out, I once blacked out whilst sat on the loo
once, I was quite young at the time though, and extremily
ill with a bad fever, as oposed to drinking myself into a
stuper.

three times, for no longer that 10 seconds
- once for some unknown reason, after waking up,
- because of a little food poisoning,
- because of exhaustion + no air in the university gym.

not 'do', but 'did'.

that gym sucked because a lot of rubber everywhere, a lot of
sweaty motherfuckers and almost no ventilation.
These were hard days of studying - little money, little
food, a lot of science, exams, tests and physical training
needed only to get a good mark for it.

things get dangerous with the hard liquor. I had a
girlfriend who would drink and black out all the time. She'd
end up in different parts of town without realizing how she
got there. I had to break up with her.

finished it. Had to quit to solve financial problems. Kind
of solved them now, but not to the desired extent yet.

I've blacked out playing the blackout game. Breathe real
hard, then have someone press in your chest while you hold
your breath. The loveliest feeling happens right before you
feint.

yes, i've blacked out. lost hours and hours of memory when
i know i was awake because people have told me they were
hanging out with me.

the worst time that i know of, i probably lost about 7
hours. i remember getting off work and going to a buddies
house and drinking jack daniels. that was approx. 5:00pm.
the next thing i remember it was dark, and i was barefoot in
the woods smoking a bowl with about 5 or 6 people that i
didn't recognize. so, i turned around and walked up a hill
towards the sound of a party. it turned out it was late
night and we had gone to a big frat party at the college
about 20 minutes away. i don't know where my shoes were.
but, we'd partied pretty hard at a buddy's place, played
frisbee golf and watched a movie then gone across the
mountain to that party... i don't remember any of that.

i say that was the worst case, but really it had happend a
few times.

think you could do this one on your own... something about
breathing funny and putting your head back really sharply I
think.

it is ofcourse pretty insane to get all hot and bothered
about so-called hard drugs and having a potent drug like
alcohol freely available, even internalizing it into all
kinds of rituals etc.

yep. alcohol is way dangerous, and pretty addictive. it's
just so steeped in tradition that it's basically impossible
to make illegal.

america tried that once and it was a miserable failure.

of course, i'm on the fence as to whether all drugs should
be legalized.

Well uhh... last weekend I had an acid flashback infront of
my family, for about 45 mins none of which i can remember
except my dad crying thinking i was insane and grabbing a
string floating in the air which wouldn't have been there.
Dad thinks I'm mildly brain damaged now ... that's pretty
scary but I think he's exaggerating.

I mean, shit happens, right?
