Somebody here can surely help me with this. I'm wondering what is the best program for capturing audio from the sound card? Say I wanted to record the music from a streaming video for example. What would be the best way to accomplish this?

I'm definitely not angsty, but I am a metal fan. I don't see what that has to do with my question though.

i recomend goldwave. and set your recording device to 'stereo mix' it will record whatever you hear. make sure to mute the mic/cdplayer/line in whatever ebcause therees often a littl ebit of noise on those.
http://cracks.am if you get sick of goldwaves nagging.

depends on what soundcard you have. with the creative ones you just open the recorder and set it to record "what you hear".
