I also see your point but i gave up looking at the personalites and concentrated on what they did musically. I don't like to get caught up in the bullshit around people within a band. I think the music is great and also what it stands for. |

hey, awesome! i have mild disdain for two of those artists. chris clark is too boring for me to care about. i am starting to like venetian snares, who i've hated for awhile, but i think that was purely because of the hype. guy actually makes good music. autechre on the other hand... |

i see your point as well. the hype surrounding bands as well as the "scenes" are always bullshit and can definitely lead to biased opinions based on things that are completely peripheral. radiohead were literally my favorite band/artist for almost five years, but i've just grown tired of the seriousness of their music. they still have some songs that mean loads to me (lucky, let down, punchdrunk lovesick singalong, worrywort) but for the most part, i'm done with that band. |

I like Radiohead a lot and I couldn't give a fuck about how much hype they have. Flies fly around fresh fruit just as much as they do around shit. I like Go To Sleep, Radiohead have a very very good record for consistency including non album tracks. |
