I'm thinking of getting a leopard gecko but obviously want
to look into how much care they need and how much all the
equipment will cost

Does anyone keep lizards? Any pointers?

you've had millions of geckos as pets and they all died
within days, didn't they, mr. Shope?

sweet Bo)

Are they cool to look after?

I can imagine the equipment will be a bit pricy at first but
I get a bonus at the end of the month (shweeeet) And
gecko's are only iccle so I wouldent need an exreamly big
tank

its not that expensive...only a weekly flow on
crickets...but once you get the tank, and lights then thats
it...its not like a dog. or "kitty kot" *shivers* haha that
you give attention to...these bearded dragons do their own
thing, but its cool to look at them while they eat the
crickets.

noice =o)

Is it cool to feed them dead ones?

I'd give it lives ones from time to time but my mum would
freak out if I had to keep live bugs in the house for any
length of time !

I could always hide them in the cupboard from time to time

No, they're alive. So he chases after some or sneaks up
behind them.

I heard geckos are the only reptiles that generate vocal
sounds. Correct me if I'm wrong..

every summer, at my grandmother's house, where i live, there
is a family of geckos that lives under our mailbox that is
hung from the wall under the porchlight by our front door.
it's funny, because when you open the door they run under
the mailbox for dear life. but i never bother them, because
insects are rather numerous here in texas, and geckos are
welcomed by me since they live off them. spiders as well, as
long as they don't sneak in my house.

Why do farmers have sgns that say 'KEEP GATE CLOSED AT ALL
TIMES!' Surely they should put a fence there, instead of
taunting me.

Yep, all that pollution really makes the air smell nice and
clean...

And there's never any rubbish on the streets. Nor puke. Not
homeless people.

Oh wait, yeah there is!

These are all the reasons that cities are horrible places to
live. Have you not seen Taxi Driver?

Countryside rules, city drools. :)

Yep, it's meant to be a lizard.

Then again, are geckos not in the lizard family?
